We are pleased to invite PhD candidates, as well as Bachelor and Master students, to participate in the 2nd International Summer School “Valorization of Food By-products”, organized within the CEEPUS network Adriatic–Pannonian–Black Sea Food Connect. The event will take place from 06 to 10 July 2026 in the beautiful coastal city of Burgas, Bulgaria.
The Summer School will provide participants with the opportunity to:
- Gain advanced knowledge in the field of sustainable food processing and by-product valorization
- Strengthen academic and research skills through interactive activities and project work
- Network with colleagues and academic staff from across the CEEPUS network
- Explore innovative approaches for transforming food industry by-products into valuable resources
- A certificate of attendance and 3 ECTS credits upon successful completion of the program.
Participation is open to motivated students from all partner institutions in the CEEPUS network “Valorization of Food By-products” who are interested in food technology, nutrition, biotechnology, environmental sciences, or related fields.

The accommodation is planned at Hotel Park, which is located in Burgas, Bulgaria, within the Sea Garden area, about 200 meters from the beach and approximately 1.6 kilometers from the city center. Special discounted prices will be provided for all participants.
